What you will do
You will be a project employee supporting the continuation of a WISE-funded collaboration with KTH Royal Institute of Technology on neuromorphic devices using sustainable 2D materials (MXenes).
It will be your responsibility to contribute to the development of production-related solutions that enable energy-efficient, brain-like electronic systems with a lower environmental footprint. This includes:
Conducting laboratory experiments with MXene and related materials for neuromorphic device applications
Analyzing and summarizing experimental results, and proposing improvements in material integration
Preparing reports and presentations to share findings across internal R&D and academic partners
Supporting project coordination and cross-disciplinary collaboration between Mycronic and KTH
Contributing to bridging the gap between early-stage research and industrially relevant manufacturing concepts


Who you are
You are motivated by working on projects that combine cutting-edge technology with real-world sustainability impact. You are curious, structured, and collaborative.
A Master’s or PhD in materials science, applied physics, nanotechnology, electrical engineering, or a related field
Hands-on experience from lab work, ideally including thin films, 2D materials, or electronics prototyping
An interest and capability to dive into exploratory, high-risk, high-reward technology development
Good analytical skills with the ability to connect findings to industrial relevance
Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken

About the position
As Field Service Technician at local 1st line support Nordics you are the contact for customers when they need support, training, preventive maintenance, repair and installation. The Field Service Technician also makes sure the customer can make best possible use of the installed equipment. Work include travel up to 140 days per year, mostly in Sweden but neighboring countries also are visited. At times also distant travels are needed. Even though travel alone is common many jobs are done in a team. Complicated tasks are solved with help from colleagues and 2:line support. Serviced equipment range from Jet printers, SPI, P&P, AOI, SMD towers and all connecting SW.

Qualifications
Swedish gymnasium with technical degree or similar

Additionally, be comfortable assisting customers remotely with troubleshooting, installations, and system configurations.

Mycronic is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director PG System Sales China to lead and drive sales of our cutting-edge mask writer technology in the Chinese market. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a dynamic professional with a passion for complex technical sales, executive relationship-building, and international business growth. This is a 1-year temporary assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the sales strategy and execution for all mask writers in the Chinese market.
Drive the full sales cycle — from prospecting to negotiation and closing — with a focus on both technical and commercial value.
Build and nurture high-level customer relationships, including C-suite engagement, to establish Mycronic as a trusted partner.
Lead, coach, and develop the local sales force to meet and exceed targets.
Maintain and develop the sales pipeline, aligning with quarterly and annual order intake goals.
Provide quarterly sales forecasts and strategic sales insights to senior leadership.

We are currently looking for a new talented System Engineer to join our team based at the headquarters in Stockholm/Täby. Your challenge will be to work with the next generation of the world’s most advanced laser pattern generator. Almost all displays you see around you in TV:s, computers, tablets, mobile phones etc. are manufactured using our technology! Within both roles you will have the opportunity to work with several engineering disciplines such as; physics, mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, optics, metrology and software.
As System Engineer you will take part in the entire implementation process of the systems, from start-up in cleanroom in Sweden to the installation and deployment at Mycronics’s international customers, mainly in Asia. You will be travelling with a project group of 3-4 colleagues and you will be spending 90-120 days abroad on a yearly basis. To a large extent, you will work on the Mycronic system with troubleshooting, problem solving and tuning. Working with optical alignment, fine tuning electrical and mechanical subsystems is done throughout the project.
