Responsibilities:

- Prepare and demonstrate food and non-food vendor products to Costco club members

We are looking for a Closing Coordinator who will assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing operations for events. S/he will ensure adherence to all warehouse standards for customer service, product quality and store cleanliness and serve as role model or resources for other staff. The Closing Coordinator will influence the buyer’s behaviour through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastically promoting and demonstrating the product. The Closing Coordinator is required to work the second shift to perform all closing duties assigned.

Responsibilities:

- Engage the consumer by creating brand awareness and enthusiasm.
- Dynamically sell product to the member.
- Assist other Sales Advisors as required in a team-oriented environment
- Act as lead to coordinate, organize and close down work area including cleaning and sanitizing, washing and drying dishes and proper storage of equipment.
- Confirm all accurate event hours are recorded, including timely and accurate sign out by Sales Advisors at the end of their shift.
- Oversee scheduled events in the absence of the Event Manager and Senior Shift Supervisor.
- Set-up and organize merchandise; prepare vendor products according to written instructions.
- Adhere to all Food Safety handling and sanitation training and guidelines.
- Coordinate organization and execution of non-food events, road shows and special events.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.


Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
- Flexible schedule, including weekend availability.
- Stand comfortably for up to 6 hours a day.
- Basic computer skills.
