As CheckProof continues to grow, we’re looking for a Finance & Office Coordinator to support our expanding operations. You’ll help lighten the load for our finance team, which currently consists of a Financial Manager, an external accounting consultant, and our Chief Information Security Officer.
The Role:
Assisting with customer invoicing and accounts receivable, including monthly and ongoing billing
Managing supplier invoices: coding, tracking approvals, and ensuring timely processing
Supporting company expense handling, including receipts from corporate cards and time reporting
Taking ownership of general office management — from restocking snacks and supplies to preparing for meetings and annual safety checks
Assisting with internal financial reporting, KPIs, budget support, and ad hoc data requests from other teams



What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience with finance and administrative tasks like invoicing, expense handling, and supplier management
A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field from a university or college
A structured, detail-oriented mindset — someone who double-checks, follows up, and ensures things get done right
A hands-on doer who enjoys combining finance work with office coordination, from reports to restocking the snack shelf
Someone with a sense of order and style — tidy, organized, and with a natural flair for creating a pleasant office atmosphere
You have very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written. While our company language is English, a large part of our internal communication still takes place in Swedish

The Opportunity

The Challenge

As the Engineering Manager at CheckProof, you’ll be responsible that the tech team delivers in a quality and timely manner. We have a very strong technical team working side by side with the product owners and designers in a stable pace of bi-weekly releases, including new exciting features, bug fixes, enhancements, and proofs of concept.

You’ll be project leading and have management responsibility for the Tech team, overseeing the technical direction of the platform together with your team, making decisions along the way regarding tools/frameworks/tech stacks/libraries, as well as evaluating the accuracy and consistency of the team with the big picture perspective in mind. You’ll be a part of the company managment team and plan the overall product roadmap and strategies.

From a more specific point of view, you need to have an understanding of both front- and backend technologies, as well as infrastructure and devops overview. While we do have experts on each side, you’ll be a decision-maker and a reference point for all of them.


The Team

You will be managing the team in Stockholm and our offshore teams. The teams consist of total 11 people (5 highly skilled people, dev & devops in Stockholm and 6 senior developers located offshore.)



The team consists of both onsite and remote members. There are 4 senior developers and 1 DevOps engineer located in the Stockholm area, and 6 off-shore developers, split between sub-contractor companies.

You’ll be the manager responsible for all of them, follow-up, keep track of their performance, progress and achievements.

What We Offer

Our Tech Stack

The platform consists of a mobile hybrid app (both Android and iOS), a web-based admin panel, a monolithic API which is currently being split into several micro-services managed by Kubernetes + Helm.

The API is built in PHP/Laravel and provides REST endpoints for various frontend clients. Microservices are either based on PHP/Lumen or Java/Spring Boot. Redis supports both cache and event-driven communication. Kong is used as our API Gateway. Databases and storages are Postgre, MongoDB, and Amazon S3. Frontend clients are based on Javascript/Typescript, using Angular, Ionic 5 (Capacitor), and an Emberjs legacy app.

Requirements

All these skills are high-level definitions and guidelines for the role we’re looking for.

- Management experience, leading teams, coaching individuals, career advise and follow-up, capacity planning. Goals setup, action items planning and skills evaluations

- Backend experience in, at least, one of the following techs: PHP, Java, Javascript

- Best Practices in terms of code style, SOLID, DRY, etc
- Architecture experience at enterprise level, scalability, performance, documentation, micro-service orientation
- Infrastructure / Devops knowledge about cloud hosting, virtualisation, CI/CD
- Agile experience, especially in SCRUM processes, and multiple PODs. Product follow-up, understanding priorities, use cases, and backlog health

Experience in the following fields is beneficial but not a requirement.

The Role

Du behöver ha en god förståelse för systemutveckling och IT-processer. Kanske har du erfarenhet av IT-administration, datorsystem, kodning eller liknande, vilket gör att du snabbt kan sätta dig in i vår produkt och kan enkelt kommunicera med vårt utvecklingsteam.

Du talar och skriver obehindrat på engelska och svenska. Det är meriterande om du kan fler språk. För dig är allt möjligt och du är den som ser till att få saker gjorda. The Role
As an UX Designer at CheckProof, you will create and develop design for a complex product that has ambitions to grow globally. Your main responsibility is the creation of design for wireframes for the final product and for the CheckProof system. You will work closely with CheckProof's tech team.

Your daily work tasks will include:

- Creation of design for application, web interface, wireframes, final product, the Checkproof system and other assigned tasks
- Create documentation and requirement specifications of new features.
- Collaboration with our Product Owner, Developers and other stakeholders
- Acceptance test of new functions
- Daily Scrum meetings with the tech team


The You
We believe that you are in the beginning of your UX Designer career and are looking for an opportunity where you can grow and challenge yourself. You have a relevant education for the profession, either within UX, Virtual Design or IT. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with graphic design and sketch. We see it as a plus if you have experience in HTML + CSS. You have worked with product development, visual libraries, created mockups and written user cases. To succeed in this role, you have a deep interest in technology and a desire to develop in the field. We see that you have good knowledge of English and Swedish (not mandatory) and are good at expressing yourself in both speech and writing.

Rollen
Som First Line Support kommer du att ansvara för supporten och vara den som först kommer i kontakt med våra kunder vid supportärenden, såväl via telefon som chatt och mejl. Du kommer se till att våra kunder får en god upplevelse av vårt digitala verktyg och agera som en frontfigur för CheckProof. Till arbetsuppgifterna hör även att hålla vår kunskapsbank uppdaterad samt att medverka till instruktionsvideos. Du arbetar tätt med övriga i supportteamet och med våra utvecklare i Sverige och utomlands.
Huvuduppgifter:
Ansvara för inkomna supportärenden. Bemöta, delegera och följa upp dessa.
Vara tillgänglig för våra kunder varje dag mellan 8-17.
Medverka i att ta fram, samt uppdatera vår kunskapsbank och instruktions guider.
