As our Android-Developer, you are vital in maintaining Teledyne FLIR's world-leading position in thermal sensing technologies. At our R & D department, we bring together creative minds from AI, image recognition, optics, mechanics, and electronics technology to develop future usages for infrared cameras. Right now, our focus lies on further integrating our hardware and software to create a more automated and better customer experience. 
You will work in the Digital Solutions team, a part of our R & D department. Now is the best time to join us; our small team sets the tone for Teledyne FLIR:s global digital strategy, and you'll have a significant impact on that journey. When working here, you will be in the center of R & D, production, and sales since most things are happening right here under the same roof.

What you will be doing:                                                                                     
Develop professional applications including video streaming, advanced image management and reporting. Connecting the applications to cloud services and IR cameras through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Create roadmaps for our Android products together with the scrum team, to define, develop and to deliver value for customers
Develop new features and components with high quality and product performance in focus


Qualifications
To be ready to take on this role we would love if you have


Good understanding of the Android platform
Proven experience developing with Java and Kotlin
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience from cross-functional collaborations, solution orientation, resourcefulness, a doers’ attitude that gets things done
Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English, Swedish is a plus

We are looking for Kubernetes SRE to help us and our customers continue to build a Platform as a Service (PaaS) on top of Kubernetes on cloud and on-prem. The work involves building out and supporting development activities as well as building and documenting all aspects of the platform.
You will also work as part of a team that develops and operates Stakater App Agility Platform (aka Kubernetes-As-A-Service), a public cloud service (AWS, Azure, GCP and OpenStack) based on Red Hat OpenShift for large enterprise customers.


Primary Job responsibilities
You will design, configure, build, operate, upgrade and maintain our internal as well as customers' cloud infrastructures and Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
Develop automation software to provision, upgrade, monitor and heal a large fleet of RedHat OpenShift clusters deployed across multiple public clouds and bare metal
Develop tooling, tests and automation for an enterprise-grade Kubernetes platform using immutable infrastructure and GitOps principles.
Evaluate and integrate cloud-native technologies, contributing features and bug-fixes back upstream when necessary.
You will be responsible for monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing, security, CI/CD, and core automation services. You will handle the full DevOps toolchain, and be the go-to person for developers.
You will help resolve incidents related to the cloud infrastructure as well as Kubernetes and application support tools.
You will have an everything-as-code mindset to automate things as much as possible.
You configure and customize cloud infrastructures as per requirements for a robust architecture.

Required Skills
Previous experience
Deep understanding of kubernetes and containers (Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or working towards it).
Strong linux and networking fundamentals.
Strong programming fundamentals.
Experience writing Go, or a desire to learn.
Experience designing, operating or building distributed systems.
Some knowledge of DevOps principles and tools.
Some knowledge of public or private cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, vSphere, OpenStack).
Hungry to learn and grow in a fast paced, challenging environment.

Good to have

Within Application Systems we create and develop applications for our clients and users. We’re looking to create the largest open ecosystem for infrared applications. Currently we are looking for a talented Android developer to join our team in Täby, Stockholm.
Job Description
We’re creating great applications for our users. In this role you’ll be developing professional apps with complex back-end functionality. The applications developed by our team are connected to a cloud-based solution and will be part of a larger system while while we also work with experts in AI and image processing to further develop the systems created. At this moment we are creating something from scratch where you’ll get to contribute with your expertise.
Who are you?
You are likely to understand complex mobile applications, perhaps with a previous background in e-commerce or banking. With an interest in architecture and solving problems this may just be the role for you. For this position we expect you to have at least 2 years of experience developing applications using Swift and/or Objective-C. It is also beneficial if you have worked with TDD, modular architecture and Protocol Oriented Programming. When developing new features, we’re using RxSwift, Swinject and MVVM.
As a person we believe that you’re a driven team player with great communication skills. You’re interested in new technologies and learning new skills. In this role we expect you to work proactively where we are willing to provide you with the responsibility, as well as the tools needed to create great applications that are part of something much larger.
