Som Software Developer kommer du att arbeta med mjukvaruutveckling för IR-kameratillämpningar i en multidisciplinär teknikmiljö. Arbetet bedrivs i projektform. Tjänsten innebär att du arbetar med alla faser i konstruktionsprocessen dvs. specificering, systemering, design, integration och test. Produkterna utvecklas och tillverkas i samma hus vilket ger dig möjligheten att direkt se effekten av ditt arbete. Genom ditt driv och din kunskap kommer du att ha stor påverkan på våra framtida produkter. Du kommer även att bidra till att förbättra och utveckla våra utvecklingsprocesser. I rollen ingår det även att hålla dig uppdaterad om trender på marknaden.

I denna roll jobbar du tillsammans med 100 kollegor på avdelningen för R&D i Sverige. Du rapporterar till chefen för Embedded Applications och får möjligheten att tillsammans med 450 kollegor på FLIR i Täby verkligen göra skillnad.

Om dig
Har du en relevant ingenjörsutbildning inom mjukvaruutveckling för inbyggda system kombinerat med stort teknikintresse så tror vi att du kan vara den vi söker. Du har även goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och skrift. Du bör ha kunskap inom C, Linux OS/Kernel-utveckling och elektronik. Vidare är det meriterande om du kan arbeta med C++, Bash, git och Python.

Som person är du noggrann, initiativtagande med förmåga att prioritera. Du trivs och stimuleras av att arbeta självgående med frihet under ansvar. Title: VP, Finance – Solutions

The VP of Finance is responsible for working in a business partnership with the Business Unit General Manager to provide executive leadership, financial strategies, and the management of global financial resources to ensure the achievement of the unit’s business plans and objectives. Operational components will focus on best practice, process and system improvements, risk management and cost savings. JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description: Handle global responsibility for all customer technical support related matters for the full FLIR industrial product portfolio. Will adjust and find new ways to drive customer satisfaction and response times in a positive direction. Provide tier support in addition to managing the team. Develop training and system procedures to meet future customer needs. Develop our support function to move from a cost-based structure into a profit-based structure. Provide readily accessible customer support to a wide range of Customers. Be a customer support ambassador throughout our Industrial segment. Coordinate best practices and share experiences cross-segments. Coordinate and be stakeholder for new processes and tools being developed by Corporate. Provide input and segment requirements. Communicate and coordinate new product releases from a support perspective and train others, setup up procedures and tools to be ready to meet our customers the first day after release. Lead a global team with members located in Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. Liaise with a broader team of in-direct reports that serve as support agents globally. Develop strategies on how to support our global customer base with regards to processes, tools, efficiency, market, customer needs and other areas which are impacting a friction less support process. Monitor and track KPI’s, initiate change to always drive result to the better – be changed focus. Provide KPI reporting - high level and detailed level. Identify customer detractors and actively work to turn them into promotors of the FLIR brand. Stay up to date on how competition and other business are developing with regards to customer support. Drive business and growth within the AMS vertical.

Den du är idag
Vi söker dig som är civilingenjör eller motsvarande, gärna med inriktning på fysik. Du har dokumenterad erfarenhet inom exempelvis kravställning och konstruktion av optiska system eller optisk mätteknik. Erfarenheter inom laserteknik, tunnfilmskonstruktion och konstruktion av IR-optik är meriterande. Du har även goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och skrift.

We’re creating great applications for our users. In this role you’ll be developing professional apps with complex back-end functionality. The applications developed by our team are connected to a cloud-based solution and will be part of a larger system while while we also work with experts in AI and image processing to further develop the systems created. At this moment we are creating something from scratch where you’ll get to contribute with your expertise.
Who are you?
You are likely to understand complex mobile applications, perhaps with a previous background in e-commerce or banking. With an interest in architecture and solving problems this may just be the role for you. For this position we expect you to have at least 2 years of experience developing applications using Kotlin and/or Java. It is also beneficial if you are familiar with TDD and Protocol Oriented Programming. We have a modular architecture and use RxJava, Dependency Injection and Data Binding when creating new features.
